The Desmond Tutu Peace Centre is a non-governmental organisation with the belief that "We are all Family" which is captured in the following vision statement:
"The Desmond Tutu Peace Center's vision is a world committed to peace. A world in which everyone lives together as family, everyone is loved, heard, cared for and unique. A world in which everyone matters and the essential good in everyone is manifested."
