The Schools for Peace programme aims to train teachers as mediators in conflict resolution and to inspire to action young people affected by violence at schools and in their communities. It will address the racism, sexism and xenophobia prevalent in South African schools. It will be co-sponsored with the South African Department of Education, provincially and nationally.
