Dialogue between religious leaders of different faiths can play an important role in promoting commitment to peace. The Desmond Tutu Peace Centre has initiated discussions with leaders of different religions to identify how the centre and Archbishop Tutu’s Mpilo Ministries can bolster their efforts.

The Desmond Tutu Peace Centre has initiated a process of learning more about the leadership challenges that inhibit world peace. It has availed itself as a resource to support the efforts of organisations such as The Elders and the Mo Ibrahim Foundation in brokering peace. Future dialogue will position the centre as a physical space for discussing how leadership can facilitate peace.
